Sementara perkembangannya dimulai ketika tumbuhan mulai tumbuh menjadi dewasa, dan menghasilkan bunga, buah, biji, atau alat perkembangbiakan lain. <em>Nah<\/em>, pada tumbuhan itu sendiri terbagi atas pertumbuhan primer dan pertumbuhan<\/span> sekunder.<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><!--more--><\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pertumbuhan primer: Pertumbuhan yang terjadi di ujung akar dan ujung batang (meristematik primer), dan<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pertumbuhan sekunder: Pertumbuhan yang terjadi di kambium (meristematik sekunder).<\/span><br \/><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>1. PERTUMBUHAN PRIMER<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pertumbuhan primer terjadi karena adanya <\/span><strong>aktivitas di jaringan apikal<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (meristematik primer). Pertumbuhan ini terjadi secara bertahap di tiga daerah. Yaitu <\/span><strong>daerah pembelahan (proliferasi<\/strong><strong><i>)<\/i><\/strong><strong>, pemanjangan (elongasi), dan daerah diferensiasi.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daerah pembelahan, berada di bagian ujung akar dan ujung batang.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daerah pemanjangan, terletak setelah daerah pembelahan. Di daerah ini, sel akan mengalami pemanjangan dan pembesaran. Akibatnya, tumbuhan pun akan menjadi lebih besar dari sebelumnya.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Daerah diferensiasi, daerah yang sel-selnya mengalami perubahan fungsi menjadi jaringan yang lebih kompleks. Seperti misalnya: epidermis, korteks, <em>xylem<\/em>, floem, dan sklerenkim, &nbsp;<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/cdn-web.ruangguru.com\/landing-pages\/assets\/hs\/Jaringan%20meristem%20primer%20pada%20ujung%20akar.jpg\" alt=\"pertumbuhan primer\" style=\"width: 640px;\" title=\"pertumbuhan primer\" caption=\"false\" data-constrained=\"true\" width=\"640\"><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"text-align: justify; font-size: 16px;\"><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>2. PERTUMBUHAN SEKUNDER<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pertumbuhan sekunder terjadi akibat adanya <\/span><strong>aktivitas di jaringan kambium<\/strong><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (meristematik sekunder). Pembelahan kambium ke arah luar akan membentuk floem sekunder. Sementara pembelahan ke arah dalam, akan membentuk <em>xylem<\/em> sekunder. Pohon-pohon yang ada di sekitar kita diameternya menjadi lebar.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nah<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, pertumbuhan sekunder ini penyebabnya. Hal ini menyebabkan kecepatan pembelahan yang terjadi di musim hujan berbeda dengan pembelahan di musim kering.
