Benda dapat bergerak melingkar karena benda yang diputar tersebut memiliki percepatan menuju pusat lingkaran. Percepatan itu disebut dengan percepatan sentripetal. Contohnya adalah ketika kita melihat benda berputar. Misalnya, bola yang diikatkan ke ujung tali diputarkan secara horizontal, gaya sentripetal akan membuat bola terus ditarik ke arah pusat sehingga bergerak secara melingkar. Walau memiliki nama yang mirip, gaya sentrifugal memiliki definisi yang berbeda dengan gaya sentripetal. Gaya sentrifugal merupakan gaya yang berlawanan dengan gaya sentripetal karena gaya sentrifugal menjauhi pusat lingkaran. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nah, <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">gaya sentrifugal didefinisikan dengan kecenderungan benda untuk mengikuti jalan melengkung untuk menjauh dari pusat atau sumbu. Gaya ini termasuk efek semu yang terjadi ketika benda melakukan gerakan melingkar. Gaya sentrifugal disebut dengan gaya pseudo atau gaya khayal.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Gaya pseudo hanya ada jika kerangka acuan yang kita ambil adalah kerangka acuan non-inersial. Misalkan, kerangka acuannya adalah bola, gaya sentrifugal ada ketika kita berada dalam bola yang diputar tersebut.
